Files accepted by every major publishing & print-on-demand platform
Trim size, bleed, gutter and spine width are calculated per platform specification — so files are built to pass platform review.
Held to the standards a publishing house would use
Every rule below is enforced in the production pipeline itself — not promised in marketing. Each one says who enforces it.
Typographic copyedits
Ellipses, em dashes, curly quotes and elision apostrophes are corrected mechanically, and each change cites the Chicago section it follows.
No silent rewrites
Every suggested edit must match the exact source text it replaces. An edit that does not anchor is rejected before you ever see it.
Your voice decides
Edits arrive as paragraph-level suggestions with a stated reason. Nothing reaches the manuscript until you accept it.
Professional text setting
Words under six letters are never hyphenated, no more than two hyphenated lines may stack, and widow control is on for every print interior.
Print geometry
Six trade trims from 5×8 to 8.5×11 with gutter and margins set per trim. IngramSpark files receive 0.125" bleed automatically.
Pre-flight QA
Widows, orphans, image resolution, bleed, gutter width, TOC anchors and quote consistency are measured by code first; the review model only judges what code cannot.
Ebook packaging
EPUB 3 package with a navigation document, ordered spine, uncompressed mimetype and modified-date metadata, ready for store upload.
Store metadata
Descriptions, subtitles and keywords are written to each retailer's field limits, with keywords ranked by real Amazon autocomplete position.
Five departments. One standard.
Watch each one work. These are the actual stages your manuscript moves through, in the order it moves through them.
Beat sheet
Voice profile
matched to 3 uploaded chapters
The lighthouse had not burned in forty years,
yet Mara climbed anyway, one hand on the rail,
counting the steps her father taught her to count.
Department 01
Scene drafting in your established voice
Upload three chapters. It learns cadence, sentence length and how your narrator thinks — then drafts the next scene to match, one beat at a time.
- Voice profile built from your own pages
- Beat sheet in, prose out — you approve every scene
- Continuity memory across the whole manuscript
Six gates between your draft and the press
A book cannot reach export without passing each gate in order. If a gate fails, you see exactly why.
Intake
DOCX, TXT or Markdown parsed into chapters, scenes and a voice profile.
Edit
Mechanical Chicago fixes, then anchored suggestions you approve.
Typeset
Trim, gutter, hyphenation and widow rules applied to the interior.
Measure
Code checks widows, orphans, DPI, bleed, gutter and TOC anchors.
Review
A model reviews only the judgement calls code cannot make.
Release
Print PDF, EPUB 3 and DOCX, plus store-ready metadata.
Pages a publishing house would sign off on
Drop caps, ornament breaks, running heads, balanced chapter openings. Every interior is typeset to trade standards and matched to the conventions of your genre.
Answered plainly

Every rule we work to is published, with who enforces it — code, model or you.
A production house for independent authors, built by SCAIROS. You upload a finished or partial manuscript and it moves through five departments — editing, ghostwriting, formatting, QA and publishing metadata — returning a print PDF, an EPUB 3 and a DOCX.
Your book deserves a production house.
Upload a manuscript and see the estimate for every department before anything is charged.
